This vibrant Midwestern leader was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. She currently still resides there with her husband and three sons. Her husband works in the local school district and coaches hockey, while Tina owns and operates a salon. Having three children with around the clock lifestyles, Tina says, “If our busy lifestyle can build this business from home, I know that anyone can.”
Tina was introduced to Wakaya Perfection through a long-time friend. Tina explains that weight loss has been a struggle throughout her life. She said that after seeing some success from her friend, she decided to follow suit and give the products a try. After the first 30 days, Tina felt incredible, and went on to say, “My clients coming into the salon started to notice a difference in how I looked.” She was excited, that for the first time, the start of a weight loss transformation, “Didn’t feel like a hassle.” She said that with the system in place and her clients witnessing her progress, that sharing it with others was easy. Tina enjoyed the fact that she didn’t have to change her entire life. “It was just modified with some products and a few adjustments to the meals she continued to prepare for herself and her family.
With Tina’s entrepreneurial spirit of owning her own salon, it was no surprise to her team when she decided to join Wakaya Perfection as an independent distributor. Yet, this was her first real experience she endured in network marketing. “Being an entrepreneur was not foreign to me, but the difference with this business was that it truly is family based.” She goes on to add that, “This business is special, not only for the awesome marketing tools but that it is surrounded by ‘real’ people, in a community that builds each other up through their own independent journeys.”
Tina’s advice for anyone wanting to take the plunge and start a home-based business is to remember that it is important to take time for yourself and your dreams. Even if you feel you are too busy with your current routine, remember that being busy is still important. It allows you to give fewer details when explaining to others what you are doing. She says, “I am busy, so I have less time to go into the nitty-gritty of Wakaya. I simply share my story, share my personal experience and spread the word to others.” She reminds others to, “Let the products and system speak for themselves.”
Tina concludes, “What I love about Wakaya Perfection is that since day one nothing has changed, it has and only is getting better.” For the first time, “I have always made people feel good on the outside, now for the first time, I am able to make a difference on the inside too.”
