We're excited to introduce our new recognition article series, MANA (a Fijian description of power and achievement). Each article features an interview with an Ambassador who has achieved the rank of Sapphire or higher.

My story is one of exploration so I encourage you to explore it further. I was first exposed to Network Marketing when I was in college. I have always believed in the concept of residual income and began in the industry part time selling health and wellness products. I attempted to create residual income in the restaurant industry from 1985 through 1997. It was a good run, but the more locations I had the more headaches grew as a result. In 1995 we continued to engage in Network Marketing part time and have never looked back. I also worked in the seminar promotion industry from 1998 through 2011. I continue to maintain a presence in the storm response industry due to the crazy weather and I am a partner in LED Sales, a factory direct LED lighting sales company. Recently, Teresa and I spent a few hours with old close friends and mentors, Barb & Dave Pitcock. They introduced us to Wakaya Perfection, helped us form a vision and we decided to help play a role in its growth.
Ironically, at the time, Teresa and I were not really looking to make a change. However, after exploring the opportunity, we knew that we wanted to be a part of the Wakaya Perfection team. With the David Gilmour’s history, Todd Smith’s partnership with him, the integrity of the leadership team, the excitement of this unique compensation plan and purity of the products, we knew this was how we wanted to finish our career in network marketing. After lengthy discussions with Todd Smith and the Pitcocks, we made our decision. We walked away from a significant six-figure network marketing income because in our core, we knew that this was an opportunity of a lifetime.
I like the freedom and independence that this profession gives you and I am truly excited about the Culture of Wakaya Perfection. The integrity of the leadership is outstanding and the “Top Down” mentality is probably the most important quality to me. In addition, the unique and consumable products from the rarest and purest source in the world, give us an opportunity to live a more healthy life, have a positive impact on others, and take advantage of a huge and expanding market. I believe people today are struggling and living a life of quiet desperation. This financial opportunity will change lives if you open up and hear the message. We are the messengers! We have an incredible story to tell and it may change someone’s life.
When people I meet ask me how I have achieved the Ruby Ambassador level so quickly, I simply tell them: It is easier to build an organization fast, than slow. Take massive and immediate action for a specific period of time, followed by consistency over the long haul in order to create success. Your success will be a direct reflection of your efforts! We are just getting started and we have tremendous leadership guiding us. Just following the leaders example and trying to keep up motivates me.
As with anything, there is always a challenge or two. For me personally, my biggest challenge is focus. Getting ready for the hail season, creating a new LED Company and managing family time keeps me very busy. I put “Wakaya Time!” on my calendar and I completely focus on committing to a specific number of hours each week to consistently grow the business. Some weeks I succeed, some weeks I may fall short. But the amazing thing about this opportunity is that it does not judge you. It only rewards you fairly for your efforts. I always remind others, and myself that your future is in your hands and the time is now. We have an amazing opportunity in front of us. What we do with it will define the legacy we leave for future generations! My number one goal is making a difference in the lives of my family and creating a legacy that will impact tens of thousands for generations to come and all the while, doing so with a sense of fair play, honesty and integrity.
I’d like to say thank you to my amazing wife Teresa for supporting me, and allowing me to dream, to fail, and to succeed. To Barb and Dave Pitcock for believing in me more than I believe in myself and to Todd Smith for the vision and courage to make the Wakaya Perfection opportunity a reality.
